Welcome to our website!
This website is dedicated to the research being undertaken by Murray Humphries and by graduate and undergraduate students working in his research lab at McGill University, in collaboration with northern organizations and partners.
In collaboration with northern communities and other northern partners, our research explores how the environment, physiology, and behaviour influence the health, abundance, distribution, and coexistence of wildlife species and how this affects the contribution and value of wildlife species to local Indigenous food systems in northern Canada.
We are part of the Natural Resource Sciences Department of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences located on the Macdonald Campus of McGill University in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. Our offices are in the Centre for Indigenous Peoples' Nutrition and Environment (CINE).
